These projects and others are the reason I continue to engage in community building, and why I am running for a third term on the City Council.  I believe in our community. 

We have come through tough economic times because we identify problems, look for resources, roll up our sleeves and get to work.  I’ve lived through the economic downturns of the 1980’s and ‘90’s, and have watched our community rebound, regroup and, at times, reinvent itself. 

I am convinced that through collaboration, strong leadership, and careful stewardship of resources we can retain our community’s rural character and prepare for future growth and prosperity.
